Racial Equality – article written by Dijana Stevanovic Uherek

Racial Equality

I have been thinking for a long time whether to write on this topic, because to be honest, the word race is too harsh for me, but with the word equality, it becomes acceptable to me.

We all came to this world born of a mother, and I, in addition to my biological mother, feel the planet Earth as a second mother and on this occasion I do not enter theology and whether we came from God, more Gods, atoms or maybe we flew from space a long time ago. and here we began to build a life, because it is the right of each of us to decide how and in what we will believe.

History is one thing, biology another, theology a third, but the most important thing is to know that we are here and that such born people should survive and leave descendants, but also examples of good practice through human deeds. As time matures, time changes us, or more precisely what Nikola Tesla said: "Time does not exist", and therefore, wouldn't it be more valuable if we were here to create an ideal life for ourselves and others and consider all differences as wealth, because the colors on the palette are not the same and are not the same in the picture, but mixing gives a nuance that gives strength to the work of art. We are all artists in a way, because we live this life from day to day, we overcome our fears from an early age, they scare us with fairy-tale monsters, but they also teach us to win well in the end.

"The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Ecuperia is a fairy tale that enriched my life and in which I felt that by coming to this world I got my humanity more beautiful, more beautiful and I would say a more vivid future, because I came to this world out of mixed love mixing Croats and the Serbs who went to war after a few years, more precisely in my 20 years of life, and for me it was unthinkable and today I do it I do not know the reason, but I know that I love all the peoples of this world, as I love nature around me, because this sky is the same color for us, the sun is the same and equally important for all of us.

That's why I think it's more important to take care of CHILDREN - PEOPLE who are currently dying of hunger, cancer, Covid 19, regardless of skin color - race, than to fight, to talk about differences, because there are more similarities in any difference.

Hitler destroyed the world in World War II because of the "blue blood" (lies) in himself and the "Aryan race", and he is not the only example of how crazy it is to share, because it is easier to multiply like a grain of rice. on the chessboard, because if we defeat hunger, disease and misery in this WORLD, we will do much more for the next generations, regardless of the color of our skin and the external differences we wear. Our heart beats evenly, the brain is still unexplored and only a few estimates use the organ so we will save it, drinking water is only 1%, Covid  19 is an unexplored disease and I think that is reason enough to love and be loved.

I do not know English very well, because the language I use is Serbo-Croatian, I learned another language, German, but I hope that this text can be read, because my intention was to point out that regardless of modern techniques, languages We know everything which our differences are, however, much more similar and that is why I quote Patriarch Paul: "LET'S BE PEOPLE!"
