Happy Maha Shivratri
To all our Indian brothers, friends and connections, Happy Maha Shivratri to you all. Take your ritual bath by sunrise and in the holy waters of Ganga, wear fresh clean cloths to Shiva's temple and pay a visit to the nearest Shiva temple and do Jalabhishek on Shivling with six different dravyas including milk, yoghurt, honey, ghee, sugar and water, as it forms an indispensable part of Shivaratri.
Burn your incense and make all your offerings, fruits and panchamrit and others, dance with different rejoicing songs and chant 'Om Namah Shivaya' that from your believes the world is saved from ignorance and darkness.
Here from Africa we join the oblation of your prayers, our world is not separated, we believe in each other's prayers that point directly to the benefit of all.
I also believed Maha Shivratri or Padmarajarathri marks a remembrance of overcoming darkness and ignorance in life and the world.
This year Maha Shivaratri 2020 festival falls on February 21, Friday. And we celebrate with you, let Lord Shiva hear all your prayers and save us once more as he saved the world from the poison that came out from the ocean during Samudra Manthan.
Best wishes and regards
