THE WAY THROUGH PANDEMIC

It came like a whirlwind moment after the feast of Valentine
We were obliged to obey the clarion call of quarantine
In response to the growing threat of covid-19 pandemic
As measures to curb spread of the prevalent endemic
In view of the fact that it spreads fast through body contact
Confirmed cases and death tolls drains our tact
Social distance has become imperative to contain spread of the virus
Which has crumbled economic index with devastating minus
Drowning the globe in streams of tears and fright
Persistently we fight trusting on God to save us from this plight.
