THE WAY THROUGH THE PANDEMIC

Coronavirus, the ravaging pandemic,
Bringing the world businesses to a standstill
Its disastrous effects are greatly horrific
Neither the great nor the small is too hard to kill

Everybody stay at home due to the lockdown order
The government had to do that to control its spread
The citizens are admonished to distance from each other
The world and its economy seems like it's going to end

All schools are closed because everyone must stay indoor
Inclusive is every religious, social and public gathering
While the infection rates are increasing more and more
Our period of staying at home the government keep extending

Always wash your hands everytime with soap and running water
Avoid touching metallic objects, your eyes, nose, mouth and ears
Having the virus is not death sentence as victims can recover
Listen to the medical workers and ignore rumors that breed fears

You should if you are feeling sick go into isolation
And arrange a meeting with a doctor as soon as possible
These are some ways of preventing contracting the infection
Endeavor to use a face mask wherever it is practicable.

The Spanish flu of 1918 has come and gone in history
We can survive this too if we hope for a better tomorrow
Avoid harbouring negative thoughts in your memory
It will subject you to depression and mental sorrow.
