HOPE IS NOT DEFEATED

Seems the time stand still,
and life is suspended,
As the nations are caught,
in this world pandemic,
From all walks of life,
people are bewildered,
The unseen villain,
freely roaming the streets.

The leaders of nations,
ordered strict lockdown,
Caught the people between,
hunger and uncertain,
Forced to stay at home,
without the assurance,
What tomorrow would bring,
amidst crisis at hand.

Though it seems the hope is depleting,
Weariness eat the gut of the human being,
Comes the love from mankind,willingly extending,
Humanity restored,through the kindness of men.

There’s a silver lining for every darkest day,
Hope is not defeated, though there are few dismay,
The proverbial saying, rainbow after the rain,
This pandemic will end,and sun will shine again.
