In June ,I write you father ,in the month dedicated to you ,the month of harvest when people are happy to reap what they have sown . It's the month of success ,happiness and thanks .
No wonder that you are the first to be thanked after GOD ,for you gave your time ,your life and all your energy to make your family happy .I could sense the amount of pleasure in your eyes when we ,your offsprings are happy . You spend days working,sweating ,thinking ,planning ,counting your earnings to satisfy us .You've never complained , you've never showed us how tired you were and you've never hidden what might make us joyful yet you've hidden many things.I ,your daughter felt when at the end of the day you came back weary ,exhausted with a long day of hard labour . I felt in your hands the amount of work you've done ,I felt the huge loads on your shoulders and the apprehension in your eyes .I was aware of the so many times you deprived yourself of things you liked ,you borrowed ,you forgot yourself in order to provide us what we needed and make us happy ! I knew what self-denial meant ! Fathers are called so because they protect their children under their wings and dress them with their feathers to teach them how to fly and how to go further !
Although young ,at those days ,I knew many things .I came to detect all your feelings because I was fed on your LOVE and he who loves knows the truth .
Dear father ,now you are in a better place ,you accomplished your duties ,you succeeded in bringing up your offsprings ,you gave us the best education based on love ,tolerance and forgiveness .I owe you a lot !
Just one thing I 'd like to mention which might help others to take precautions . You were my first love ! In you I learnt that Love is unconditional ,that we don't love for a reason ,that we do not wait for things in return .Alas! Dad ,this is not what I personally found ! I thought that the love of a husband ,the love of a son are similar to the love of a father . Fathers are unique ,they never barter their love for anything .Fathers are special and remain special .
One more thing ,a message for all ,love your fathers with all your heart ,make of every moment with your fathers a feast ,celebrate a smile ,a stroke ,a tap ,a hug ! sniff your father's smell ! If you have no presents to offer ,make of your gratitude and thankfulness the present of all times ,it's called "Filial Gratitude "
